Discussions covered mechanisms for providing an integrated digital and smart infrastructure to support large-scale agricultural land reclamation projects, most notably the New Delta, Minya–Beni Suef, El-Lahun, Sanabel Sono, and El-Dakhla and El-Oweinat regions. The aim is to keep pace with the scale of ongoing works and expansion plans, while ensuring the delivery of modern, stable, and secure telecommunications services that enhance operational efficiency and management.
The meeting also addressed supporting the establishment and attraction of investments in data centers, strengthening cooperation in smart cities projects, and leveraging advanced digital technologies in managing and operating the Future of Egypt Industrial City. These efforts are intended to reinforce Egypt’s digital transformation agenda and support sustainable development goals.
Both sides emphasized the strategic importance of these national projects and their pivotal role in strengthening Egypt’s food security and supporting the national economy. They stressed that developing smart telecommunications infrastructure is a fundamental pillar for the success of development projects and for integrating them into the state’s broader digital transformation ecosystem.
For his part, Eng.
