Madinet Misr Partners with Magdi Yacoub Foundation to Establish Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at New Cairo Centre
Madinet Misr, one of Egypt’s leading real estate development companies, has announced a strategic partnership with the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation to support the operation of the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo. As part of the partnership, Madinet Misr is contributing a dedicated donation to enhance free cardiac services for patients at the new Cairo centre. The funding will directly support the establishment of a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) within the Global Heart Centre, in addition to financing open-heart surgeries at the Aswan Heart Centre. These contributions are expected to strengthen the Magdi Yacoub Foundation’s capacity to serve more patients, elevate the quality of medical care, and improve health outcomes for children suffering from complex heart conditions.
