Plug, a leading Egyptian developer of smart electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and a subsidiary of ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, has announced a strategic partnership with PRE Group to roll out state-of-the-art EV charging infrastructure within Stone Residence. The agreement enables Plug to install, operate, and manage smart EV chargers across the compound, ensuring seamless, reliable charging access for all Stone Residence residents.
The signing ceremony took place at ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC’s headquarters and brought together senior representatives from both companies. The partnership represents a major milestone in Plug’s mission to build a fully integrated, accessible EV ecosystem in Egypt, accelerating nationwide EV adoption and contributing to the country’s broader sustainability objectives. By bringing charging closer to where people live, Plug strengthens its leadership in the residential EV market and reinforces its position as the preferred smart charging partner for premium real estate communities.

The installed smart chargers support both AC and DC charging and are fully integrated with remote management features. Customers benefit from a full suite of local support services, including comprehensive pre-sales consultations and after-sales technical assistance.
Plug delivers a versatile portfolio of residential and commercial EV charging solutions across Egypt, ranging from AC chargers (7.4kW to 22kW) to high-performance DC fast chargers (60kW to 180kW). The company also provides a wide range of specialty products including portable chargers (3/7.4/11kW), golf car and e-scooter charging solutions (Schuko Socket Type C), and battery swapping stations.
