Amazon Launches Ultra-Fast “Amazon Now” Delivery Service in the US

Amazon has begun testing a new ultra-fast delivery service on Monday, offering select shoppers in two major U.S. cities the option to receive groceries and essential household items at their doorstep in as little as 30 minutes.

The new feature, branded as Amazon Now and integrated directly into the company’s main shopping app, is currently available in parts of Seattle, Washington, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Shoppers can order items such as milk, eggs, fresh produce, over-the-counter medications, and consumer electronics for rapid delivery.

In an online announcement, Amazon stated that “thousands of everyday household essentials and fresh groceries can now arrive at customers’ doors within minutes.”

Delivery fees start at $3.99 for Amazon Prime subscribers and $13.99 for non-Prime shoppers, offering an additional premium option for those seeking near-instant access to daily necessities.
