Raya Auto and Sungrow Launch Electra to Power Egypt’s Next-Generation EV Charging Network
Raya Auto, a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments and Egypt’s first authorized electric vehicle distributor, has officially unveiled its new EV charging brand, Electra, in a strategic partnership with Sungrow, the global leader in renewable energy technologies and power conversion systems.
Electra introduces a full suite of home chargers, AC chargers, and ultra-fast DC chargers with capacities of up to 180 kW, designed to meet the evolving and diverse needs of Egypt’s rapidly growing electric mobility market. Powered by Sungrow’s advanced isolated air-cooling technology, Electra delivers ultra-fast charging speeds, intelligent load management, and high energy efficiency, setting a new benchmark for EV charging infrastructure performance in Egypt.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in the development of Egypt’s electric mobility ecosystem.
