Vodafone Egypt and IMI Media Academy Partner to Empower Journalists and Media Professionals in Egypt’s Telecommunications Sector

As the exclusive digital partner of the Tech Park platform at the Egypt Media Forum 2025, Vodafone Egypt has announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with IMI Media Academy, one of the region’s leading Abu Dhabi-based institutions specializing in media training.

The partnership will launch an advanced training program designed to share knowledge on emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and the latest trends shaping the media landscape. Beginning at this year’s edition of the Forum, the collaboration aims to explore how technology is redefining the future of journalism and digital storytelling.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Egypt Media Forum, held on November 8–9, by Mai Yassin, Head of External Communications and Sustainability at Vodafone Egypt, and Abdo Gadallah, Editorial Content Quality Manager at IMI Media Academy. The partnership reflects Vodafone Egypt’s ongoing commitment to supporting the empowerment and upskilling of Egypt’s media community, while driving excellence and innovation in the national media ecosystem.

During the event, Abanoub Emad, representing IMI Media Academy, delivered a live demonstration highlighting the use of AI tools in content creation and newsroom workflows, providing attendees with an early glimpse into the skills that will be developed through the program.

This collaboration represents a fusion of technology and creativity, bringing together Vodafone’s digital expertise and IMI’s training excellence to offer a comprehensive program focused on AI-driven content production, digital storytelling, and smart communication skills. Applications for the program will be announced soon and will be available through Vodafone Egypt’s Media Platform.
