e& Egypt Strengthens Partnership with Government to Drive Digital Healthcare Transformation

e& Egypt has announced holding a high-level meeting with Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in digital transformation and automation across Egypt’s healthcare system. The talks aim to support the government’s strategy to build a more efficient, inclusive, and technologically advanced healthcare ecosystem aligned with Egypt Vision 2030.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Hazem Metwally, CEO of e& Egypt, who presented the company’s latest digital solutions and its roadmap for developing a robust digital infrastructure capable of delivering high-quality healthcare services nationwide. The discussions emphasized expanding access to advanced medical services, particularly in remote and underserved areas.

During the session, e& Egypt showcased its achievements in digital transformation across key sectors and outlined proposals to strengthen cooperation on developing a unified national health database. The envisioned platform would securely store and manage patients’ medical records, enabling data-driven decision-making and improving the speed and precision of healthcare delivery. The meeting also addressed the enhancement of network and communication infrastructure within healthcare facilities to ensure greater efficiency and reliability.

The discussions further explored investment opportunities in Egypt’s digital health sector, including potential joint ventures aimed at boosting the country’s attractiveness to healthcare investors. Such initiatives would contribute to advancing medical services, fostering innovation, and attracting global expertise — in line with Egypt’s broader drive to localize technology and promote a data-driven digital economy.
