Old and precious Metals Division of the Federation of Egyptian Industries stated that the price stability comes after a slight decline witnessed in the markets during the past week as part of a natural correction movement, stressing that the local market is moving at a balanced pace, supported by the stability of the price of an ounce globally above the level of $4,000.
The division added that the price of the gold pound is directly affected by changes in the price of a gram of 21-karat gold, as it is made entirely of this karat and weighs 8 grams, noting that the general trend of the market indicates a state of anticipation before any new price movement during the coming period
