Everything You Need to Know About Vodafone Cash Limits and Fees in 2025
Vodafone Cash continues to strengthen its position as one of Egypt’s leading digital payment solutions, with updated transaction limits and service fees introduced for 2025. These updates aim to align with the Central Bank of Egypt’s financial inclusion and digital transformation directives.
According to Vodafone Egypt, the maximum daily transaction limit is set at EGP 60,000, while the monthly limit is EGP 200,000, and the maximum wallet balance is EGP 100,000. The minimum amount for transfers or withdrawals is EGP 5.
In terms of fees, Vodafone applies a transfer fee of EGP 1 for sending money to another Vodafone Cash wallet. Transfers to wallets from other operators or banks are charged at 0.5% of the amount (with a minimum of EGP 1 and a maximum of EGP 15). Notably, the first monthly transfer under EGP 2,000 is free of charge.
For ATM withdrawals, a 1% fee applies (with a minimum fee of EGP 3), while cash deposits—either through Vodafone branches or ATMs—are completely free.
Vodafone Cash users can access services easily using the following shortcodes:
#79* for quick money transfers
#229* to generate a one-time PIN for ATM withdrawals
#139* to check wallet balance
Beyond money transfers, Vodafone Cash offers a wide range of services, including virtual cards for online shopping, bill payments, mobile recharge, and top-ups via debit or credit cards.
To maximize the benefits of Vodafone Cash, users are advised to take advantage of free deposits, avoid frequent small withdrawals, double-check recipient numbers before transferring funds, and keep the “Ana Vodafone” app updated for a seamless experience.
