19th Edition of “People and Banks” Economic Conference Kicks Off Under the Auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt
The 19th edition of the “People and Banks” Economic Conference has officially kicked off today, held under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
This year’s conference, themed “Smart Economy… Secure Future,” brings together top leaders from Egypt’s banking and financial sectors to discuss the most pressing economic issues and trends shaping the country’s financial landscape.
The event features a distinguished lineup of banking executives and policymakers, including Tarek El Kholy, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt; Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Banks and Chairman of the National Bank of Egypt; Hisham Okasha, Chairman of Banque Misr and Chairman of the Conference; and Yehia Abou El-Fotouh, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Egypt and Secretary-General of the Conference.
The “People and Banks” conference serves as one of Egypt’s most prominent annual economic events, providing a platform for dialogue between the banking community, policymakers, and business leaders to foster financial inclusion and sustainable economic growth.
