TelecomWadi Launches Router Manufacturing in Egypt, Plans Capital Increase to $10 Million
In a strategic move to localize technology and strengthen domestic manufacturing, TelecomWadi, a subsidiary of Wadi Holding, announced the launch of its operations in the Egyptian market, specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of telecommunications equipment.
The company begins with an initial capital of $2.5 million, with an ambitious plan to increase it to $10 million within the coming year, aiming to expand production lines and boost capacity to meet both local and regional market needs.
TelecomWadi is focusing on developing and manufacturing a diverse portfolio of communication devices and solutions, including:
CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) for telecom operators and service providers.
Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions to expand connectivity and improve internet speeds.
Networking devices for residential, commercial, and industrial use.
Digital payment devices to support Egypt’s shift toward a cashless economy and digital transformation.

The company’s dedicated factory in the Polaris Industrial Zone, 6th of October City, represents the cornerstone of its strategy. Operated by a 100% Egyptian workforce, the facility covers development, design, assembly, and testing, ensuring world-class quality standards under the “Made in Egypt” label.
This initiative aligns with Egypt’s national strategy to localize electronics manufacturing, a key pillar of the country’s Vision 2030.
