Egyptian EdTech Startup YouVerse Eyes Saudi Expansion with Digital Learning and Workforce Readiness Solutions
Egyptian digital learning startup YouVerse has announced plans to expand into the Saudi market at the beginning of next year, aiming to tap into the Kingdom’s accelerating digital transformation and growing demand for workforce-ready skills.
In an exclusive statement to FintechGate, Abdelrahman Mosallam, Co-founder and Product Lead at YouVerse, said:

Bridging the Gap Between Education and Employment
YouVerse offers an AI- and IoT-powered experiential learning model designed to close the gap between academic programs and the real-world demands of the labor market.
“From our experience in education and technology, we’ve seen a major mismatch between what individuals learn in universities or training courses and what employers in modern sectors actually need,” Mosallam explained. “Students and graduates invest years of effort but still struggle to find suitable jobs, as traditional education programs don’t fully align with emerging industries such as fintech, AI, data analytics, and digital project management.”
EdTech Growth and Market Potential
The global EdTech sector is witnessing rapid growth, expected to exceed $315 billion by 2026. In the MENA region alone, the digital learning market is valued at over $7 billion, with Egypt offering significant untapped opportunities for digitizing education and building platforms that directly connect learning outcomes to employment pathways.
Growth and Expansion Plans
Currently in the pre-seed stage, YouVerse has launched its first fundraising round to fuel its expansion strategy. The startup aims to reach 50,000 users by 2026, focusing primarily on two key segments: job seekers and professionals seeking to upskill and advance their careers.
