Samsung Highlights Privacy-Centered Galaxy AI Experience in Egypt

As artificial intelligence becomes a central part of daily mobile experiences, Samsung Electronics is placing user privacy and control at the forefront with Galaxy AI. The company announced that its AI-powered ecosystem is designed not only to enhance productivity, creativity, and communication but also to ensure that personal data remains secure and under user control.

Samsung emphasized two key approaches: embedding privacy safeguards directly into Galaxy AI features, and leveraging AI itself to reinforce mobile security. The company noted that transparency and user choice guide this vision, with intuitive privacy settings enabling users to see what data is processed, how it is handled, and the extent of their control.

On-Device and Hybrid AI for Greater Control
Galaxy AI’s privacy protections are supported by advanced settings that give users flexibility over how their information is used. Core features such as Live Translate, Interpreter, and Audio Eraser run entirely on-device, ensuring that sensitive data never leaves the user’s phone. For more complex tasks, Samsung has adopted a hybrid model, combining on-device and cloud-based AI. Tools like Generative Edit utilize both methods while still adhering to strict privacy policies — ensuring no personal data is stored long-term or used for AI training.

Security Dashboard and Advanced Protections
Samsung’s Security and Privacy dashboard provides a central hub for managing permissions, app data access, and sharing functions. Unique visibility tools, including permission usage tracking and intuitive status indicators, give users deeper insight into how their information is managed.

Features such as Auto Blocker and Message Guard further shield devices from malware, unauthorized installations, and zero-click attacks. For maximum protection, users can activate Maximum Restrictions, which includes options like blocking 2G networks and preventing reconnections to insecure Wi-Fi.

Commitment to Transparency and Safety
Backed by Samsung Knox, Galaxy AI empowers users with meaningful choices on whether to process data online or keep it entirely on-device. Samsung said it is committed to making future AI-powered protections even smarter, more adaptive, and seamless — ensuring that privacy remains the foundation of all Galaxy experiences.
