ITIDA and NTI Honor Top Students of National Summer Training Program

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) have honored 100 top-performing students from the first phase of the nationwide Summer Training Program, a flagship initiative designed to equip 10,000 students with advanced digital skills.

The program, launched under the umbrella of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), aims to cultivate a new generation of specialists in emerging technologies and strengthen Egypt’s position as a regional and global hub for ICT and offshoring services. It reflects ITIDA and NTI’s commitment to empowering undergraduates across governorates with in-demand competencies that align with global industry needs.

Offering specialized training across eight core domains—software development, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, data science, cloud computing, electronics, digital arts, and systems management—the program blends technical expertise with freelancing and soft skills, preparing students for both local and international opportunities.

During the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented to outstanding students, alongside recognition for those who earned Huawei’s HCCDA-Tech Essentials certification in cloud computing. The event also featured interactive sessions on career planning and personal development.

On the sidelines, ITIDA arranged an exclusive tour at Smart Village, where students visited leading companies including Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (_VOIS), Brightskies, and SEITech Solutions, gaining firsthand exposure to professional workplace environments.

Since its launch in June, the program has trained 6,125 students nationwide—including 2,220 in Greater Cairo, 2,785 in the Delta and Northern governorates, 905 in Upper Egypt, and 215 in the Canal region—with nearly 4,000 more students currently enrolled. Training is delivered in hybrid formats through NTI’s premises at Creativa Innovation Hubs and online platforms, ensuring accessibility across Egypt.

Notably, more than 1,400 participants earned international digital badges from NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute (DLI), reflecting MCIT’s vision to build world-class AI talent and advance Egypt’s digital transformation journey.
