The Arab Youth Media Creativity Summit has signed a partnership agreement with Telecom Egypt (WE) to sponsor and support a series of youth-focused media events. The collaboration comes as part of a broader initiative involving leading national companies, media institutions, and training centers across Egypt and the Arab world, aimed at equipping young journalists and media professionals with the tools and skills needed to thrive in today’s digital media landscape.

The events, organized in cooperation with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, will provide practical training on modern technologies and innovative storytelling methods, enabling participants to produce impactful content that reflects the latest advancements in journalism and media.

This initiative builds on the outcomes of the second edition of the Summit, held earlier this month in New Alamein City, which called for greater collaboration with national institutions to ensure the sustainability of youth-led media projects. The recommendations also emphasized launching joint training programs with the Arab Academy to prepare a new generation of media professionals capable of keeping pace with rapid industry changes.

Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Academy and Chairman of the Summit, highlighted that the cooperation between the Academy, Assist Communication (the Summit’s executive partner), and major regional and international companies will serve as a platform to amplify Arab youth voices. “Our goal is to foster innovation and creativity through interactive platforms that give young talents the opportunity to present fresh ideas contributing to the future of Arab media,” he said.

He also revealed plans to launch a dedicated digital platform for the Summit to track the implementation of its recommendations and document key outcomes.

Dr. Sally Gad, Vice Chair of the Summit, underscored the importance of year-round support for young media professionals. “We aim to organize sustainable activities that go beyond short-term events,” she noted, adding that preparations are already underway for the third edition of the Arab Youth Media Creativity Forum, scheduled to be held in South Sinai in 2026.

Meanwhile, Dr. Yomna Ibrahim, CEO of Assist Communication and the Summit’s executive partner, explained that upcoming activities will feature awareness sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing opportunities led by senior Arab journalists and media leaders. “Several new initiatives will be announced soon to further support the growth and development of young media professionals across the region,” she added.
