Egyptian Pound Holds Steady Against the Dollar in Banks and Exchange Offices

The US dollar remained stable today across Egyptian banks and currency exchange offices, with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) quoting the official rate at EGP 49.02 for buying and EGP 49.15 for selling.
Among major public and private banks, dollar rates showed minimal fluctuation, reflecting a broadly steady foreign exchange market.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the greenback held firm at EGP 49.04 for buying and EGP 49.14 for selling. The same rates were reported at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) and Bank of Alexandria, both of which also maintained dollar levels at EGP 49.04 (buy) and EGP 49.14 (sell).
The United Bank of Egypt reported a slightly lower buying rate at EGP 49.03, with the selling price at EGP 49.13. Similarly, Al Baraka Bank posted identical figures of EGP 49.03 (buy) and EGP 49.13 (sell).
Meanwhile, Suez Canal Bank posted the highest rates among the surveyed institutions, offering EGP 49.10 for buying and EGP 49.20 for selling.
