US Dollar Holds Steady Against Egyptian Pound Across Local Banks

The US dollar maintained a stable exchange rate against the Egyptian pound in local banks on Monday, reflecting continued calm in the foreign exchange market.
According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the official rate stood at EGP 49.29 for buying and EGP 49.42 for selling.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the dollar remained unchanged at EGP 49.25 for buying and EGP 49.35 for selling.
Similarly, the greenback held steady at Bank of Alexandria, trading at EGP 49.22 for buying and EGP 49.32 for selling.
The United Bank also reported stable rates, with the dollar priced at EGP 49.20 for buying and EGP 49.30 for selling.
In Suez Canal Bank, the US dollar recorded EGP 49.33 for buying and EGP 49.43 for selling.
Commercial International Bank (CIB) listed the dollar at EGP 49.22 for buying and EGP 49.32 for selling, with no notable change from previous sessions.
At Al Baraka Bank, the greenback was trading at EGP 49.20 for buying and EGP 49.30 for selling.
The continued stability in the exchange rate reflects broader trends in Egypt’s monetary policy and ongoing efforts by the Central Bank to manage inflation and foreign currency liquidity.
