At the outset of his visit to Tokyo, Japan, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat met with Director General of Startup Strategy Promotion Headquarters at Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) Keiichi Yoshimura, in the presence of the Ambassador of Egypt to Japan Mohamed Abubakr. They explored avenues of bilateral cooperation and the exchange of expertise in advancing digital innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, and fostering startup growth.
The meeting underlined the efforts of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to cultivate a conducive environment for digital innovation and entrepreneurship through the widespread establishment of Creativa Innovation Hubs across Egypt. The two sides also examined opportunities to boost cooperation between these hubs and TIB in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Currently, it boasts over 140 private sector partners and plays a pivotal role in empowering startups to scale and access global markets, and upskilling students and youth.
