Second Round of ITIDA–DXC Dandelion Training Program Launches
The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), in partnership with DXC Technology, has launched the second round of Dandelion, a program that identifies neurodivergent talent and prepares these promising young people for meaningful professional opportunities in the IT sector.
The nine-month program targets qualifying up to 60 neurodivergent individuals, including those on the autism spectrum and persons with ADHD or dyslexia. The curriculum is built around six core pillars: technical skills development in data analysis and software testing, career readiness and professional confidence, a comprehensive support environment, practical experience, independence, and direct pathways to employment.
DXC Technology first introduced Dandelion in Australia in 2014, and the program has since expanded to several countries. Egypt is the first country in the Middle East to host the program, reflecting confidence in the local market's capacity to embrace diverse ways of thinking and to expand the pool of talent contributing to the digital economy.
The initiative forms part of ITIDA's wider commitment to advancing equal opportunity in the digital labor market and instilling a culture of inclusion across the technology sector.
