CairoICT is preparing to mark its 30th anniversary with a stronger focus on artificial intelligence, introducing new awards and an AI-powered short film competition as part of its 2026 edition.

Kamal said dedicated judging committees will be formed to select the leading industry figures, with the awards ceremony scheduled for November 6, one day before CairoICT 2026 officially opens.
The 30th edition will also introduce a new brand called “Khayal”, featuring a competition for the best short film created using artificial intelligence.
According to Kamal, the initiative will bring a new dimension to this year’s event, combining technology and creativity as CairoICT seeks to present a different experience for its milestone edition.
