ITI Strategic Partner in VFX Planet Summit 2026
The Information Technology Institute (ITI) is participating as a Strategic Partner in VFX Planet Summit 2026, taking place on September 3–5 under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). ITI is hosting the third day of the event at its premises in Smart Village.
The summit serves as a key platform bringing together filmmakers, industry leaders, and leading production specialists, alongside the founders of major production studios, global giants of the film and visual effects (VFX) industries, decision-makers, and VFX experts from Egypt, the Gulf, the Arab world, and countries around the globe — including prominent, multi-award-winning figures — for direct engagement and closer cooperation in the field. This falls within a vision aimed at building new bridges between the Arab film industry and global and local expertise in VFX, film production, and artificial intelligence (AI).
VFX Planet Summit aligns with national aspirations to attract foreign direct investment to the film production, VFX, and digital arts sectors, while cultivating an environment that enriches knowledge and accelerates the exchange of advanced technical expertise. Its agenda features keynotes and panel discussions exploring the future of VFX, AI in production, working within global studios, and emerging trends in narrative storytelling.
Egypt’s hosting of the event is part of broader efforts to reinforce its position as an advanced regional hub for VFX innovation and foster effective strategic partnerships that help shape the future of visual storytelling regionally and internationally. It also focuses on creating new pathways for Arab talent within the global VFX ecosystem, placing local creative capabilities at the forefront of the rapid transformations reshaping visual content and cinematic technology.
ITI is one of the training arms of MCIT. It prepares young Egyptians for the job market through specialized training programs, professional certifications, events, and competitions, in direct support of the Digital Egypt vision.
