Rees Tech Inks 3 Strategic Partnerships with Global Giants LONGi, AIKO, and VEICHI to Expand Renewable Energy and Storage in Egypt

Egyptian solar and renewable energy solutions provider Rees Tech has signed three landmark partnership agreements with leading global and Chinese clean-tech manufacturers on the sidelines of the Solar & Storage exhibition and conference. The strategic deals aim to bolster the company's market presence in Egypt by supplying cutting-edge solar technologies, energy storage systems, and specialized inverters.

Eng. Ibrahim Gamal, Chairman of Rees Tech, stated that the three agreements with LONGi, AIKO, and VEICHI represent a major leap forward in the company's expansion strategy, creating a comprehensive, end-to-end portfolio for renewable energy projects across Egypt.

The Three Strategic Partnerships

The agreements secure distribution and agency rights for high-efficiency solar equipment, energy storage solutions, and agricultural solar pumping systems across the Egyptian market:

Partner EntityScope of Partnership & TechnologyKey Specifications / Strategic Targets

LONGi (China)Official Agency for Solar & Renewable Energy Storage SolutionsHigh-efficiency, reliable energy storage systems designed to stabilize renewable generation on the national grid.

AIKO (China)Exclusive Supply of High-Efficiency Solar PV Modules & CellsUltra-high module efficiencies reaching 25.1% with power outputs currently up to 805W, optimizing land use and project yields.

VEICHI (China)Supply of Solar Inverters, Cabling, and Lithium Battery SolutionsSpecialization in solar water pumping systems with low failure rates and remote monitoring; targeting a 25% supply volume increase in 2027.

Focus on Agricultural Applications & Distribution Strength

Eng. Gamal highlighted that VEICHI solar inverters serve as specialized solutions engineered specifically for solar water pumping applications across Egypt’s agricultural sector, featuring low fault rates, seamless operating software, and integrated remote monitoring capabilities.

To support its commercial rollout, Rees Tech relies on an extensive nationwide distribution network:

10 Main Distributors

30 to 40 Sub-Distributors

~50 Distribution Points strategically deployed across Egypt’s agricultural zones and governorates.

Rees Tech enforces a structured commercial policy designed to protect market stability and secure distributor profit margins, ensuring the long-term sustainability of its channel partners alongside its technical expansion.

Aligning with Egypt's Clean Energy Transition

Rees Tech's participation in the Solar & Storage exhibition highlights its commitment to facilitating technology transfer into Egypt. By integrating solar PV modules, lithium storage batteries, industrial inverters, and solar pumping solutions under a unified umbrella, the company actively supports national goals to expand reliance on clean energy and scale up localized storage capacity.
