ELCC, Cisco Academy Co-organize IT Essentials Training under TOT Program
The E-Learning Competence Center (ELCC), in collaboration with Cisco Networking Academy, organized an online training course on IT Essentials on July 20–22. The course was held as part of the Training of Trainers (TOT) program, aimed at preparing certified trainers for the newly accredited Cisco Academy centers.
The program brought together participants from universities and civil society organizations for in-depth sessions on operating systems basics and hardware fundamentals. The training was designed to build participants' skills and prepare qualified instructors to share knowledge and strengthen IT capabilities nationwide.
ELCC was jointly established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and Cisco in 2004 to help bridge the gap between youth skills and labor market needs. It offers training programs in basic digital skills, entrepreneurship, networking basics, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and programming.
The center’s programs target all segments of Egyptian society, including students, graduates, employees in the public and private sectors, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. ELCC collaborates with leading companies to select qualified instructors for its courses, facilitating access to these groups
