Kayan Egypt, the exclusive agent for the Cupra brand in Egypt, has officially announced the launch of the new "VZ" trim of its popular sports utility vehicle, the Cupra Formentor. Arriving with a powerful 2.0-liter engine for the first time in the Egyptian market, this launch fulfills the company's promise to introduce higher-capacity powertrains to its loyal customer base.
Initially introduced globally in 2020, the Cupra Formentor quickly established itself as one of the most attractive and luxurious vehicles in its segment, before undergoing significant design and engineering upgrades in its latest iteration. While the 1.5-liter (150 hp) version was launched in Egypt earlier this year, the arrival of the more potent VZ version completes the model's lineup, blending enhanced sporty performance with luxury and cutting-edge technology.

The all-new Cupra Formentor VZ is driven by a robust 2.0-liter, four-cylinder TSI turbocharged engine. This powertrain delivers an impressive 265 horsepower and a maximum torque of 370 Nm.
Mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission that routes power to the front wheels, this SUV Coupe can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds.
