e& Egypt Launches ‘She Blooms’ Initiative to Develop Women Leaders and Foster Workplace Inclusion

e& Egypt has introduced "She Blooms," a long-term leadership and professional development initiative aimed at accelerating women's career growth while reinforcing diversity and inclusion across the company's workforce.
The program forms part of the telecom operator's broader human capital strategy, which focuses on developing talent, promoting continuous learning, and creating equal opportunities for career advancement in an evolving business environment.
Rather than serving as a standalone training course, She Blooms has been designed as an ongoing platform that combines leadership development, mentorship, networking, and personal growth. The initiative seeks to equip female employees with the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to take on greater leadership responsibilities while encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.

The program was officially launched with an interactive discussion featuring Dalia El Geziry, Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer at e& Egypt, and Hala El Kassem, Chairwoman and CEO of Karina. The session explored topics including women’s leadership, resilience, confidence building, and the role of inclusive leadership in shaping stronger corporate cultures.
According to e& Egypt, the initiative will include a series of learning experiences, coaching sessions, and professional development activities designed to prepare participants for future leadership opportunities while strengthening the company's internal talent pipeline.
Dalia El Geziry said investing in women remains a key pillar of e& Egypt's people strategy, noting that building an inclusive workplace begins with empowering employees to develop their capabilities and realize their full potential. She added that She Blooms is intended to become a sustainable platform that supports women throughout their professional journeys rather than a one-time corporate initiative.
Hala El Kassem said meaningful empowerment starts with creating opportunities and building confidence, adding that organizations benefit when women are given the support and environment needed to grow, lead, and contribute to lasting change.
The launch of She Blooms reflects the growing emphasis among major employers in Egypt on embedding diversity, inclusion, and leadership development into long-term business strategies. By investing in female talent, e& Egypt aims to strengthen innovation, expand leadership opportunities, and cultivate a workplace culture built on collaboration, equal opportunity, and continuous development.
