Preparations are currently underway for the upcoming edition of "Nelly Kids Fashion 2026," the largest specialized exhibition for children's clothing and accessories in Egypt and the Middle East. Sponsored by the Ministry of Industry, the highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place from August 27 to 29, 2026, at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center.
Targeting 800 International Buyers
The exhibition is strategically designed to attract 800 international buyers from various Arab, African, and global markets. According to Bahia Nazim, Board Member of the Ready-Made Garments Chamber at the Federation of Egyptian Industries, the primary objective is to enhance export opportunities for Egyptian companies. The event seeks to open new channels of cooperation with global importers and commercial agents, ultimately securing new export contracts—particularly within Arab markets where Egyptian products have a strong competitive edge.
Focus on Direct B2B Engagements
Tarek Riad, Project Development Advisor, highlighted that the forthcoming edition represents a crucial milestone in supporting the children's apparel export sector, driven by the expected heavy participation of buyers and retail chain representatives from across the Arab world.
Actionable Business Meetings: The exhibition will facilitate direct business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking sessions between Egyptian manufacturers and international buyers. This ensures that participation translates into tangible export agreements rather than remaining a mere product showcase.
Sector Strengths: Riad emphasized that the Egyptian children's clothing sector possesses robust fundamentals—including high product quality, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and highly competitive pricing—making it well-positioned to increase its export volume.
Hosting 800 international buyers will create significant opportunities to forge long-term commercial partnerships with Arab markets, supporting the broader growth of Egyptian exports and strengthening the international presence of locally manufactured goods.
Aligning with National Export Goals
Riad further noted that the Ministry of Industry’s sponsorship reflects the state’s deep commitment to empowering export-oriented industries and backing events that elevate the competitiveness of Egyptian products abroad. "Nelly Kids Fashion" has successfully established itself as a premier regional platform, bringing top manufacturers and buyers together under one roof to actively support the national objective of expanding non-petroleum exports.
