The Egyptian National Railways (ENR) has announced that electronic seat reservations for air-conditioned trains are now available up to 12 hours before the train's scheduled departure, significantly reducing the previous 24-hour cutoff. This service is accessible via the Authority's official website and mobile application as part of a broader initiative to upgrade the ticketing system and improve passenger services.

Extended Flexibility and Train Options

The Authority clarified that the booking window opens 15 days prior to the travel date and will now remain active until just 12 hours before departure, granting passengers greater flexibility in their travel planning.

Furthermore, the mobile application enables users to book tickets across various train categories, including:

All premium air-conditioned trains.

Third-class air-conditioned trains.

Dynamic ventilation trains.

The app also offers features to inquire about train schedules and access other passenger services seamlessly.
