NTRA Hosts Training Program on Cybersecurity Entrepreneurship
The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has organized an online training program on cybersecurity entrepreneurship, in June. The program was delivered by the Egyptian African Telecom Regulatory Training Center (EG-ATRC), bringing together 32 participants from 19 African countries.
The topics covered included regional and international capacity building, innovative business models in cybersecurity, and key regulatory frameworks.
The training reflects NTRA’s leading role in providing guidance and support in telecommunications regulation, while bolstering the capacities of regulatory authorities at the regional and international levels to drive sustainable digital transformation.
As Africa’s first specialized facility dedicated to telecommunications regulation, EG-ATRC serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge across ICT fields. Certified as a training provider under the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Academy, the Center plays a pivotal role in strengthening the capabilities of African regulatory authorities, equipping them to address sector challenges and develop the expertise required to build a thriving digital economy.
