eYouth and Doroob Partner to Expand Digital Skills Training and Employment Opportunities in Syria

Egyptian educational technology company eYouth has announced a strategic partnership with Syrian startup Doroob to expand digital education and employment-focused training programs for young people across Syria, as both organizations seek to address growing labor market demands and improve access to job-ready skills.

The partnership combines eYouth’s regional experience in digital learning with Doroob’s localized training infrastructure, creating an integrated model designed to equip Syrian youth with the skills needed to compete in an increasingly technology-driven economy.

Under the agreement, eYouth will integrate its digital learning content and educational resources into Doroob’s network of training centers and online platforms. The collaboration aims to provide learners with access to specialized programs in technology, freelancing, entrepreneurship, and other high-demand disciplines while maintaining hands-on training opportunities through physical learning hubs across Syria.

The move comes as demand for workforce development and digital skills continues to grow across the Middle East, with governments, private-sector organizations, and educational institutions placing increasing emphasis on preparing young people for the evolving requirements of modern labor markets.

eYouth has emerged as one of the Arab region’s leading educational technology platforms, reaching more than three million learners and helping over 700,000 graduates secure employment opportunities across 21 countries. The company has built its reputation through online and blended learning models supported by a broad network of instructors, mentors, and industry specialists.

Doroob, meanwhile, focuses on connecting education directly to employment opportunities. The Syrian startup operates a hybrid model that combines digital learning with physical training centers located across more than seven Syrian provinces. The company also works closely with local ministries and public institutions to provide practical training aligned with labor market needs.

Through the new partnership, Syrian learners will gain access to internationally developed educational content while benefiting from local support, mentorship, and practical training. The initiative is expected to help bridge the gap between education and employment by providing skills that are directly relevant to employers and emerging industries.

Mostafa Abdellatif, Chief Executive Officer of eYouth, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating meaningful employment opportunities for young people across the region.

“Syrian youth possess tremendous potential and deserve access to high-quality training that leads directly to real employment opportunities,” Abdellatif said. “By combining our regional platform with Doroob’s deep understanding of the Syrian market and its local training network, we aim to deliver programs that equip young people with the skills companies are actively seeking today.”

Sami Al-Ahmad, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Doroob, said the initiative is designed to accelerate the transformation of education into economic opportunity.

“Our primary goal is to transform education into employment,” Al-Ahmad said. “This partnership enables us to expand more rapidly by delivering eYouth’s digital content through our training hubs while continuing to work closely with local institutions. Together, we are creating a practical and scalable pathway to prepare young people for the labor market across Syria.”

The two companies plan to launch joint programs in coordination with government entities, international organizations, and private-sector partners. Their broader objective is to support youth employment, encourage entrepreneurship, and contribute to sustainable economic development by expanding access to high-quality digital education and professional training.

Industry observers view the partnership as part of a wider regional trend toward integrating technology-enabled education with workforce development initiatives, as countries increasingly invest in digital skills and human capital to strengthen economic competitiveness and create new opportunities for younger generations.
