ITIDA to Host DevOpsDays Cairo 2026 with Focus on Agentic AI and Sustainable Development Environments
The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), through its Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), announced the organization of the ninth edition of DevOpsDays Cairo, scheduled to take place on September 26 at the Creativa Innovation Hub in Giza under the theme “Sustainable DevOps in the Agentic AI Era.”
The event will focus on the growing impact of artificial intelligence on software development environments and explore how organizations can build more efficient, resilient, and sustainable DevOps ecosystems while integrating next-generation AI technologies.
According to ITIDA, this year’s edition aims to examine the balance between leveraging the advanced capabilities of AI-powered systems and maintaining sustainable operational environments across three key pillars: people, processes, and products and tools.
The conference will bring together professionals, researchers, developers, cloud specialists, and technology experts in the fields of DevOps, artificial intelligence, software engineering, and cloud computing to discuss the latest industry trends, practical applications, and emerging challenges associated with adopting AI technologies in modern software development environments.
The event will also address the growing role of Agentic AI systems, which are capable of autonomous decision-making and task execution, and their potential impact on software engineering workflows, automation strategies, operational efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives.
Industry discussions are expected to cover topics including cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, cybersecurity, AI-assisted software delivery, operational resilience, and the future of intelligent development ecosystems.
DevOpsDays is part of a globally recognized conference series that was first launched in Belgium in 2009 and has since expanded to more than 60 cities worldwide.
The global platform focuses on software development, IT infrastructure, automation, organizational culture, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity, while fostering collaboration between technology communities and industry experts.
Cairo joined the international DevOpsDays network in 2018, becoming one of the leading Arab cities hosting the global event and reinforcing Egypt’s growing role within regional and international technology ecosystems.
The conference comes amid accelerating global interest in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and automation technologies that are increasingly reshaping software engineering practices and digital business operations worldwide.
