The seventh round of Plug and Play Cairo Program has kicked off at Creativa Innovation Hub in Sultan Hussein Kamel Palace, with 25 startups selected to participate. The program is implemented in collaboration with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the National Bank of Egypt (NBE).

The three-month program is designed to empower high-potential startups and strengthen Egypt's position as a regional hub for innovation-driven entrepreneurship. It enables founders to refine their business models, connect with anchor companies, build strategic partnerships, and access investment opportunities across regional and international markets, while also providing mentorship, expert guidance, and collaboration opportunities with investors, industry experts, and institutional partners.

To serve startups at every stage of their journey, the program features two dedicated tracks: “MVP” for early-stage startups, and “Revenue Generating” for those seeking to scale their operations.

The seventh round’s launch event brought together startup founders and entrepreneurs within an ecosystem designed to foster innovation, collaboration, strategic networking, and business growth opportunities. It featured a session titled “Founders’ Circle,” highlighting practical experiences and lessons learned from building and scaling a FinTech company in the Egyptian market, offering valuable insights and real-world perspectives to participating startups.

The selected startups include Olimi AI, Banknbox, ParlexAI, Zaher AI, Sia AI, Atomica AI, Charikaty, The WHITEGUARD, Makkook AI, MAAT Legal, Edulga, Nesba, Oblix Tech, Mindlytx AI, SCADA Swap, Next Neurons, Robost, Leona Pet Plan, bookit, Polaris-GRC, Tap A Doc, Photon Smart, Just2Pay, Faro, Lua AI, and Zypl AI. They primarily focus on FinTech, AI, digital transformation, and enterprise solutions.

The selection of these startups underscores the increasing global interest in Egyptian technology companies driving the country’s digital economy, while reflecting the growing diversification of Egypt’s tech ecosystem.
