NTRA Launches Digital Safety Awareness Sessions in Matrouh
The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has launched an extensive series of awareness sessions in Matrouh, aimed at promoting digital literacy and ensuring the safe and effective use of digital services.
The sessions were held under the auspices of Matrouh Governorate and attended by officials from NTRA, along with executive and educational leaders in the governorate.
The series aims to achieve comprehensive geographic coverage, reaching citizens and executive bodies across the governorate’s cities, including El-Hammam, El-Dabaa, Marsa Matrouh, and Sidi Barrani.
Topics explored included the fundamentals of cybersecurity, personal data protection, and preventive measures against cyber threats. NTRA’s role was also highlighted, especially in governing the telecom sector and safeguarding users’ rights, in addition to presenting its most prominent initiatives and user services.
The sessions also featured interactive discussions addressing citizens' complaints and challenges, through which appropriate solutions were identified.
The series is part of NTRA’s campaign titled “Know Your Rights and Your Services; Protect Your Device and Data.” It aims to promote digital awareness among public sector employees and all segments of society, ensuring an inclusive digital transformation and supporting Egypt’s efforts to build a safe knowledge-driven society.
