LG Electronics has announced the installation of its large-scale commercial LED display solutions at Terminal 3 of Frankfurt Airport, marking another step in the company’s global expansion within the airport display and digital signage sector.

The installation is located in the terminal’s central Marketplace area, one of the airport’s busiest international passenger zones, aiming to enhance digital brand communication and advertising experiences in high-traffic environments.

The project includes two LG LHCB025-YN LED displays installed in the duty-free area, covering a total area of approximately 115 square meters. The displays feature a resolution of 6,240 × 1,485 pixels, delivering uniform image quality and reliable 24/7 performance suitable for demanding commercial environments.

According to LG, the installation incorporates an advanced fire safety concept designed for critical infrastructure environments and complies with major European safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards, including VdS 6024, CE-LVD and CE-EMC.

The project was delivered through collaboration between Fraport, the airport operator; Media Frankfurt, responsible for the airport’s media concept and advertising spaces; and Ben Hur, which handled technical implementation and systems integration.

LG stated that the project demonstrates its ability to provide customer-tailored digital display solutions for complex international airport environments where operational stability, image quality and regulatory compliance are essential.

The company continues to strengthen its presence in the global commercial display market, with its signage and display solutions deployed across major airports in Europe, the United States, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Australia and Argentina.

“Airports demand display solutions that can operate reliably around the clock while meeting the highest standards for safety, durability and visual performance,” said Nicolas Min, head of the Information Display Business at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “The Frankfurt Airport Terminal 3 project demonstrates LG’s ability to deliver customer-tailored display solutions for high-traffic commercial environments.”
