The United Bank Relaunches ”Themar” Program to Propel SME Growth with EGP 7M Funding Limit
The United Bank has announced the strategic relaunch of its flagship SME financing product, "Themar," specifically designed to bolster the productive capacities of small enterprises across Egypt’s industrial, commercial, and service sectors. This initiative follows record-breaking growth in SME financing portfolios across the Egyptian banking sector in 2025. Tarek Fayed, CEO and Managing Director of The Bank, emphasized that the new "Themar" is a pillar for economic restructuring, aiming to localize manufacturing and strengthen domestic supply chains.
The revamped product offers flexible financing solutions up to EGP 7 million, with repayment terms extending to 5 years. This move is aligned with the National Strategy to increase the private sector’s contribution to the GDP and create sustainable employment opportunities. By focusing on productivity and operational efficiency, The United Bank seeks to enhance the regional and international competitiveness of Egyptian products in compliance with international sustainability standards.
