Egypt Integrates AI and Programming into High School Curriculum to Future-Proof Students
Egypt’s Minister of Education, Mohamed Abdel Latif, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to modernizing the national curriculum by integrating Programming and Artificial Intelligence. During a supervisory visit to Mohamed Abu Zaid Secondary School for Girls in Al-Badrashein, the Minister emphasized that mastering these digital languages is no longer optional but a "pivotal step" toward qualifying the next generation for the global job market.
The Minister highlighted that the goal is to foster logical thinking and innovation among students, ensuring they are active contributors to the nation’s digital transformation. By introducing AI and coding at the secondary level, Egypt aims to build a tech-savvy workforce capable of competing in high-demand fields such as software development, data science, and automated systems.
