US Dollar Continues to Decline Against Egyptian Pound, Falling to EGP 51.37 in Local Banks

The US dollar continued to decline against the Egyptian pound during Tuesday’s trading across several banks operating in the local market, reaching its lowest level at EGP 51.37 for buying, marking a noticeable drop compared with Monday’s levels that approached EGP 53.

The lowest exchange rate was recorded at Emirates NBD Bank, where the dollar traded at around EGP 51.37 for buying and EGP 51.47 for selling.

At Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, the dollar stood at EGP 51.40 for buying and EGP 51.50 for selling, while at the Egyptian Arab Land Bank it reached EGP 51.45 for buying and EGP 51.55 for selling.

Meanwhile, the dollar was quoted at approximately EGP 51.47 for buying and EGP 51.57 for selling at QNB Egypt, United Bank, and Bank of Alexandria.

The exchange rate reached around EGP 51.48 for buying and EGP 51.58 for selling at Commercial International Bank (CIB), Egyptian Gulf Bank, and Industrial Development Bank.

At Arab African International Bank, Next Bank, and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt, the dollar traded at about EGP 51.50 for buying and EGP 51.60 for selling.
