Egyptian Exchange Concludes Trading of Atlas Investment Subscription Rights
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced the end of trading for subscription rights of Atlas Investment and Food Industries – 1 at the close of trading on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
In its statement, the EGX clarified that trading of subscription rights will cease today, marking the last day for trading the rights separately from the original shares.
This follows a decision by the Securities Listing Committee on December 30, 2025, to list 500 million subscription rights related to the company’s capital increase, raising its capital from EGP 65.13 million to EGP 115.13 million, an increase of EGP 50 million.
The capital increase is being executed through the issuance of 500 million shares with a nominal value of EGP 0.10 per share, without issuance fees, to be paid in cash via subscription by existing shareholders, with the subscription rights tradable separately from the original shares.
The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) had approved the invitation for existing shareholders to subscribe on December 22, 2025, and the Egyptian Clearing, Depository, and Central Registry Company approved the listing of subscription rights under the central deposit system on December 24, 2025.
