First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE’s leading global bank, has unveiled its “FAB Rewards Active” credit card, in collaboration with Mastercard. This groundbreaking card is the first of its kind worldwide, combining wearable payment technology with fitness-based rewards and an interactive digital experience, featuring football icon and Mastercard ambassador Lionel Messi.

The innovative card comes with a free smart ring that tracks physical activity and enables contactless payments, directly linked to the FAB mobile app. Cardholders can earn rewards points for their daily steps while making seamless payments with a simple tap of the ring.

The smart ring is recognized as the world’s first wearable device integrating secure contactless payments and fitness tracking in a single device. Users earn 25 FAB Rewards points per 1,000 steps, up to 10,000 steps per day (max 250 points daily), redeemable for lifestyle and wellness discounts.
