The Minister of Housing announces a package of investment opportunities in the cities of Obour, 10th of Ramadan, and New Taiba.
Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Sherif El-Sherbiny, announced a new package of diverse investment opportunities in land plots in the cities of Obour, 10th of Ramadan, and New Thebes. These opportunities are available through the New Urban Communities Authority's online investor services portal until January 15th.
The Minister indicated that the proposed land plots are designated for mixed-use development, administrative, residential, commercial, and warehousing activities. Applications for these opportunities are submitted entirely electronically via the investor services portal at https://assign.newcities.gov.eg/, in line with the state's general direction towards digital transformation, streamlining procedures, and saving time and effort for investors.
The Minister explained that offering these opportunities aims to maximize the utilization of available assets in the new cities, support the investment climate, and accelerate the pace of sustainable urban development. This includes providing diverse job opportunities and services, all within a comprehensive vision to expand the base of economic and service activities within the new cities. This will contribute to improving the efficiency of services provided to citizens and enhance the status of the new cities as destinations for promising investment opportunities.
In this context, several plots of land in the 10th of Ramadan City have been offered on the Investors Services Portal website. These include Plot No. 280, designated for exhibitions in the third phase of the Financial and Business District, with an area of 6,110 square meters; Plot No. 19/2 in the western axis, third phase, designated for mixed-use commercial, administrative, and residential purposes; Plot No. 9/15 in the city center, first phase, designated for commercial and administrative purposes, with an area of 4,694 square meters; Plot No. 3/19 in the regional services area, designated for mixed-use urban development, with an area of 26,575 square meters; Plot No. 6 in the third district services center, designated for mixed-use urban development, with an area of 31,224 square meters; and plots No. 371, 372, and 373. Plots 381 and 382 in the East B4 Industrial Zone are designated for warehouse activities, excluding pharmaceuticals and food, with varying sizes. Plot 43 in the East B4 Industrial Zone is designated for pharmaceutical warehouses.
In Obour City, plot 134 in the Sixth District Services Center, measuring 727 square meters, is designated for administrative and residential use. Plot 1 in Block 25034 in the Entertainment District, measuring 3264 square meters, is designated for commercial use.
In New Thebes City, plots 34, 35, and 36, each measuring 1800 square meters, are designated for commercial use in the City Services Center. Plots 626, 627, 628, 632, 633, and 634, each measuring 10500 square meters, are designated for warehouse activities, excluding pharmaceuticals and food, in the Industrial Zone.
