Industrial Development Bank Distributes Winter Blankets to Needy Families Across Egypt
In line with its ongoing commitment to social responsibility, the Industrial Development Bank (IDB), in cooperation with Orman Association, participated in the “Warmth and Comfort” campaign to distribute winter blankets to underprivileged families across several Egyptian governorates. The initiative aims to alleviate living expenses and provide tangible humanitarian support during the winter season.
The distribution campaign covered multiple governorates, including Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Sharqia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Beni Suef, Ismailia, Sohag, Fayoum, and others, ensuring wide geographical coverage and reaching as many needy families as possible. The campaign also included visits to several elderly care homes, providing both material and moral support.
IDB’s corporate social responsibility ambassadors from its branches across the governorates actively participated in the distribution, helping organize the campaign efficiently and reflecting the values of cooperation and solidarity between the bank and society.
The bank emphasized that this initiative underscores its role as a proactive community partner, contributing to improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable, especially during the winter months. It also highlights the commitment of IDB employees to social engagement and the bank’s dedication to maximizing the positive impact of its initiatives.
IDB reaffirmed its ongoing efforts to implement CSR programs nationwide in alignment with Egypt’s 2030 Vision, reflecting its dual role in both banking and sustainable community development.
