Saudi Arabia Unveils Strategic Cybersecurity Investment Package at Black Hat 2025
The Ministry of Investment, serving as the strategic sponsor and investment partner of the fourth edition of Black Hat Middle East & Africa 2025, has announced a major new package of high-impact investments in Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity sector. The announcement was made during the flagship event organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center from 2 to 4 December 2025.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Investment took part in a series of panel discussions that explored key developments shaping the cybersecurity landscape, as well as future investment prospects amid rapid global technological transformation. The sessions also highlighted opportunities to empower specialized and emerging companies to access the Saudi and regional markets, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
During its participation, the Ministry unveiled a portfolio of new investments from leading global and domestic cybersecurity players. These investments include the establishment of regional headquarters, the launch of operational branches, exclusive partnership agreements, and expansions into international markets. The total value of these commitments has exceeded 500 million SAR, underscoring the Kingdom’s strong investment climate and the growing maturity of its digital and cybersecurity ecosystem.
The Ministry reaffirmed its continued efforts to attract high-quality investments, launch incentive-driven initiatives, and support the global expansion of Saudi companies. It also emphasized its commitment to accelerating the growth of the cybersecurity sector as one of the Kingdom’s most promising technology industries, fully aligned with the ambitions of Vision 2030.
