ITIDA Concludes Its 19th Job Fair in Assiut with Strong Youth Participation
The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) announced the successful conclusion of its nineteenth job fair, hosted in Assiut, which witnessed an impressive turnout and strong engagement from the governorate’s youth and students from various institutes. The event generated highly positive feedback, marking it as one of the most impactful and successful editions within the agency’s nationwide job fair series.
The fair brought together a significant number of companies specializing in information technology, outsourcing services and business process operations, alongside local and regional employers who offered dozens of job opportunities across a wide range of digital fields. The strong attendance underscored the ambition and enthusiasm of Assiut’s young talent to pursue careers in Egypt’s rapidly expanding technology sector. This made the current edition one of the standout milestones in ITIDA’s efforts to expand employment opportunities and build digital competencies across Upper Egypt.
In an official statement, ITIDA said that the positive energy and high engagement witnessed by the organizing team reflect the growing interest among young people in exploring new opportunities within the ICT sector. The agency emphasized that this enthusiasm serves as a strong motivation to continue its mission of supporting talent and enhancing digital skills across governorates, aligning with the state’s vision to build a globally competitive human capital base.
ITIDA highlighted that the job fair is part of a continuous series of initiatives aimed at empowering youth and opening new professional pathways for them. The agency reaffirmed its commitment to connecting companies with qualified talent and fostering an enabling environment for the growth of Egypt’s outsourcing industry, which continues to expand with government support and strategic efforts to attract global investment in cross-border services.
The agency also revealed its plans to launch another job fair in December, expected to feature an even larger number of participating companies and a wider range of job opportunities. This upcoming edition will further strengthen ITIDA’s role in building strong and sustainable career pathways for young people across Egypt.
In conclusion, ITIDA affirmed that its efforts are ongoing, with more programs and initiatives in the pipeline aimed at equipping youth with the skills needed to join the technology workforce and compete at both regional and international levels.
