Palo Alto Networks acquires the Chronosphere to enhance the capabilities of artificial intelligenc

Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW), the global cybersecurity company, announced the signing of a final acquisition agreement for Chronosphere, a state-of-the-art data monitoring platform designed to meet the needs of the artificial intelligence era. This acquisition will enhance Palo Alto Networks' ability to support organizations and enable them to adapt to technological environments where modern applications and AI workloads require a unified basis combining data and security.

The growth of these applications and workloads requires permanent operational readiness and high endurance, which makes immediate and continuous monitoring a key element to ensure success. The chronosphere was specifically developed to meet these requirements through a next-generation architecture designed to expand into the era of artificial intelligence and efficiently handle large volumes of cloud computing data, with a focus on reducing costs and enhancing reliability. The platform has proven its performance in production environments at a number of prominent companies leading major transformations in the field of artificial intelligence, including two of the most important developers of large language models.

On this occasion, Nikesh Arora, Chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks, said: “Ensuring continuity and endurance is the cornerstone of any data center based on artificial intelligence, which makes the need for immediate and permanent monitoring at an instemedible cost. The Chronosphere was developed from the beginning to meet the growing data requirements of the era of artificial intelligence, making it the preferred choice for leading cloud-based organizations. With the integration of AgentiX with the Chronosphere, we will move monitoring from the level of traditional display panels to real-time processing based on self-reactive capabilities. We look forward to entering this area with confident steps, and reshaping it in a more advanced way.”

The combination of the improved and specially developed “chronosphere” architecture to deal with the largest and most complex digital environments, and with AgentiX™️ of Palo Alto Networks, will redefine the concept of monitorability by moving from passive follow-up to an advanced self-processing platform. The new solution will deploy artificial intelligence agents to process the huge amounts of data tracked by the Kronosphere platform, detecting performance problems, automatically investigating the root of the bug, and closing the self-processing cycle. Through this integration, customers will get a deeper level of comprehensive visibility that combines security data and petabyte-scale monitorability, along with tangible cost savings thanks to the advanced chronosphere architecture in data absorption and management.
