«Legal Services in Your Pocket».. Orange to Launch Second Phase of Digital Legal Transformation via My Orange in Early 2026
Orange Egypt has announced the upcoming launch of the second phase of its digital legal and governmental services on the My Orange application, scheduled for early 2026. CEO and Managing Director «Hesham Mahran» described the move as «a major leap in Egypt’s national digital transformation agenda» and a continuation of the strategic partnership between Orange, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the Public Prosecution.
Speaking during an interview on the program «El Hekaya» with TV host Amr Adib on MBC Masr, «Mahran» said the new phase will allow citizens to conduct comprehensive inquiries about any legal cases related to them, whether as defendants or victims, and access their legal services without the need for travel or time-consuming procedures.
He explained that Orange Egypt, together with its partners (the Ministry of Communications, the Public Prosecution, the National Bank of Egypt, and e-Finance), spent a full year preparing for the launch of the first phase, following extensive technical and operational testing designed to provide real solutions that ease pressure on citizens and reduce overcrowding at prosecution offices. Available services include accessing criminal status information, requesting official copies of rulings, certificates, inheritance declarations, and more, with home delivery options to save time, effort, and money.
«Mahran» emphasized that the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Communications are committed to offering high-quality services that enhance citizens’ comfort and eliminate the burden of commuting, particularly for women, the elderly, and patients who previously had to interrupt their daily lives to complete procedures that can now be done with a single tap.
He added that Orange Egypt is proud of its partnership with the state under the slogan «A New Beginning for Citizens’ Comfort», noting that the second phase will be broader in scope, more comprehensive, and a genuine step forward in enabling citizens to access their legal services anytime, anywhere.
The CEO also revealed that the Public Prosecutor has allocated a portion of the proceeds from services provided through the My Orange application to support the Cancer Hospital and another charitable organization, aligning with the state’s vision of linking digital transformation to meaningful social impact.
