Cairo ICT 2025 Concludes Its 29th Edition with Record Attendance and Exceptional Milestones

The 29th edition of Cairo ICT 2025, the leading technology exhibition and conference for the Middle East and Africa, concluded its activities with unprecedented success, marking the highest attendance in the event’s history. Over the four days from 16 to 19 November, the exhibition halls welcomed 161,000 visitors, in addition to nearly 82,000 attendees at Connecta, the parallel exhibition dedicated to youth and entertainment technologies. The event was held in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

Cairo ICT 2025, along with PAFIX and AIDC, took place across four halls at the Egypt International Exhibition Center and featured a comprehensive agenda of 96 panel discussions with 491 technology leaders and experts. Connecta also hosted 84 additional sessions. More than 27 major partnership agreements were signed during the four-day event, underscoring its role as a key regional platform for industry collaboration.

As part of its high-level engagements, the exhibition hosted five strategic meetings between top consultants and participating companies to exchange global insights. It also organized multiple roundtables, including key discussions in the healthcare sector and the first roundtable of its kind focused on aviation. Additionally, more than 20 gatherings brought together Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), positioning the exhibition as the largest cybersecurity congregation in Egypt and the wider region.

During the closing press conference, Osama Kamal, Chairman of Trade Fairs International and organizer of the event, extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly for inaugurating the exhibition, and to Dr. Amr Talaat for his continuous support. He also acknowledged the participation of Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, for his sponsorship of AIDC, and the Central Bank of Egypt for its long-standing patronage of PAFIX, represented by Eng. Ayman Hussein, First Sub-Governor for IT, and Mr. Mohamed Amer, Acting Sub-Governor for Banking Operations and Payment Systems.

Kamal further expressed appreciation for the participation of several cabinet members, including Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education; Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation; Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance; Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture; and Lt. Gen. Eng. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization. He also recognized the contributions of Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA; Eng. Mohamed Shamroukh, CEO of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA); and Dr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority.

Kamal emphasized that the success of Cairo ICT 2025 reflects the collective efforts of the organizing teams, media partners, and exhibitors who continued to support the event through all circumstances over the years. He noted that this year’s edition witnessed strong participation from several companies joining for the first time.

He announced that the 30th edition of Cairo ICT will take place on 8 November 2026, shaped by anticipated local and regional developments. Kamal highlighted that artificial intelligence will occupy an even more prominent place in next year’s edition, given its growing impact across all economic sectors—not just technology. He also revealed that this year’s official event video was produced entirely using AI tools.

“AI truly is everywhere,” Kamal said. “Its role goes far beyond conversational or image-based applications. Its influence extends deeply into every sector, making it essential for all professionals to acquire the knowledge needed to harness its tremendous potential within their fields.”
