CIB’s Legal Department Wins Three Prestigious Awards at The Law Magazine’s 2025 Ceremony
The Legal Department of the Commercial International Bank (CIB Egypt) has been honored with three major awards at The Law Magazine’s prestigious annual ceremony, held at the historic Qubba Palace in Cairo on Friday, October 17, 2025.
The event, marking the 10th anniversary of The Law Magazine—the leading legal platform in Egypt and the Middle East—celebrated excellence and innovation across the region’s legal sector.
CIB’s Legal Department won two institutional awards:
Best In-House Legal Team – Egypt
Diversity & Inclusion Award
In addition, Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, Chief Legal Officer of CIB Egypt, received the distinguished title of General Counsel of the Year – Egypt, recognizing his outstanding leadership and contribution to the advancement of corporate legal practice.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Abbas said:
