EDGE Group, one of the world’s leading advanced technology and defense conglomerates, has announced a strategic partnership with du, a leading UAE-based telecommunications and digital solutions provider, to integrate KATIM Gateway network encryption devices into the nation’s telecommunications infrastructure. This initiative aims to safeguard data flows across the UAE’s financial institutions and ensure future compatibility with the Central Bank of the UAE’s cybersecurity frameworks.
Strategic Collaboration
Under this landmark agreement, KATIM—EDGE’s secure communications subsidiary—will serve as the exclusive provider of network encryption devices for this national initiative. The collaboration underscores the UAE’s leadership in sovereign cybersecurity and digital resilience.
The partnership agreement was signed by Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE Group, and Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du.
