GITEX GLOBAL 2025 Kicks Off in Dubai with Participation from 180 Countries and 6,000 Companies

The 2025 edition of GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s largest and most influential technology and startup event, kicked off this morning at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together more than 6,000 companies from over 180 countries in the biggest edition since the event’s inception over four decades ago.
The event was inaugurated by H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, who emphasized in his opening address that “GITEX is a global platform shaping the future of technology.” He added that this year’s edition places a special focus on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and smart cities.
Running until October 17, the event features over 1,400 panel sessions and workshops, highlighting groundbreaking innovations in AI, robotics, augmented reality, and the metaverse.
Key highlights of GITEX 2025 include:
A dedicated AI Pavilion showcasing real-world applications across education, healthcare, and finance.
The GITEX YouthX Conference, designed to empower young talents and entrepreneurs.
Participation from major global tech giants including Microsoft, Google, Huawei, and Amazon.
With more than 180,000 visitors expected over the five-day event, GITEX 2025 reaffirms Dubai’s position as a global hub for technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
