Lenovo Tab and IdeaTab with MediaTek chips launched

Chinese consumer electronics major Lenovo has introduced two new Android tablets in the Indian market — the Lenovo IdeaTab with 5G support and the Lenovo Tab aimed at multimedia users.
The Lenovo IdeaTab, starting at Rs 17,999, comes in Luna Grey, while the Lenovo Tab is priced from Rs 10,999 and is available in Polar Blue. Both devices can be purchased via Lenovo’s online store, physical outlets, e-commerce platforms, and select retail partners.

The IdeaTab features an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 500 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Running Android 15, it offers AI-powered tools such as Lenovo AI Notes and Google Gemini’s Circle to Search.
Other highlights include support for a stylus (sold separately), an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and quad Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers. The device packs a 7,040mAh battery with 20W wired charging.

Lenovo Tab
The Lenovo Tab sports a 10.1-inch FHD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 400 nits brightness, and is TÜV-certified for reduced eye strain. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 4GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage, running Android 14.
It includes dual Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and a 5,100mAh battery. The tablet supports 15W charging and comes bundled with a 20W adapter. A Standby Mode allows it to function as a digital photo frame or clock.
