Egyptian Stock Exchange performance mixed during morning trading
The Egyptian Stock Exchange's performance varied during morning trading on Tuesday. The main EGX30 index fell 0.14% to 35,859 points, while the Sharia Index rose 0.09% to 3,647 points.
The EGX35-LV index rose 0.31% to 3,845 points, the EGX100 index rose 0.22% to 14,289 points, and the EGX70 index for small and medium-sized enterprises rose 0.3% to 10,617 points.
The market capitalization of listed shares reached EGP 2.498 trillion, with foreign investors selling at a net value of EGP 19.5 million, while Egyptians and Arabs bought at a net value of EGP 7.6 million and EGP 11.9 million, respectively.
The total trading value amounted to approximately EGP 1.9 billion, with a volume of 486.9 million shares executed over 43,300 transactions.
